About

The first iteration of my design career began in the textile manufacturing sector. My interest in materials, fibers, and woven structure grew through the mastery of technical structure programming, process engineering, product marketing, and a deep understanding of vertical manufacturing.

My second phase has positioned me as an active learner in slightly different materials, manufacturing processes, and end users. As a Masters of Industrial Design student, I have had the opportunity to immerse myself in the medical device product development process. My interest in human factors psychology and test methods have complimented my user centered design practice. This understanding of human cognition including mental workload, mental models, and attention has transformed the way I research, ideate, and test within design methodologies. I am currently passionate about the women’s health space and hope to provide insights and change to the medical device industry through a design lense.

In my spare time I enjoy growing very hot peppers, perfecting chocolate chip cookies, and playing with fire on my jewelry bench.
